Kendrick (10-6) was abused for seven runs on nine hits and three walks in
lasting only 3 1/3 innings. Kendrick had won back-to-back starts coming in
while Lowe halted a personal two-start losing streak.
Chase Utley had three hits and two RBI and Jimmy Rollins had two hits with a
runs scored and an RBI for Philadelphia, which had a modest two-game winning
streak snapped. The Phils remain atop the NL East, holding a two-game
advantage over the Mets. The Marlins are 2 1/2 games back.
